We sat upstairs, had warm, friendly service, and some of the best food. The Butler Peak Chicken Sandwich will knock your socks off! So good! So spicy! Thank you so much!!

The turkey croissant and latte were delicious! The wait time was long, but we got chatting with a local named John who was welcoming and shared a little about Big Bear. Great first experience!

Highly recommend the drinks made with their in-house syrups! Originally stopped just for coffee but also got the chicken croissant and it was great! Super friendly, great service. Brown sugar latte was amazing!

This is a cozy small Cafe with good food and very friendly environment. The food portion is large for the price, the food quality is good, the service is nice and bonus is that restroom is CLEAN! My husband and I had our late lunch here. My husband ordered Western cheese burger with bacon and Cheddar cheese. I had Peppered roast beef with Swiss cheese. We also had one large cheese fries. My beef roast was made great, just enough of everything. I asked for light jalapeño and they made it just perfect. The cheese fry was larger than many other places I have tried, it was fresh, not salty at all. They have fountain drink but we just had water. The young lady serving us and the owners were friendly and welcoming.After a long day of work around Big bear, Broadway Cafe with its cool vintage deco left a very nice impression. I'll definitely go back and will recommend it to others.

Best burgers on the mountain char grilled fresh. Tasty golden standard fries with ranch! Can’t beat it. Support the Main Street and mom and pops when in small towns and everywhere in America. Last thing this town needs is another Carl’s Jr.

Update: Dropped by again today and was not surprised to have an incredible experience. The food is always delicious and hearty, the dining areas are consistently clean and the staff has been very courteous. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT. Got the BLT and Tots today with the Diet Coke. Awesome!!Past Experience: Dropped by here a few days ago with a friend whom recommended it. We were both able to switch our beef patties for chicken which was outstanding! The sandwhich was delicious and those tater tots are fried to crispy perfection. If you're considering stopping by, DO IT. You won't regret it.I also hear that they've got a superb- award winning chili here.. The Boradway Cafe is an excellent, if not the best, place in the Big Bear area for a cafe lunch or dinner.Indoor seating is limited, but available in inclement weather, otherwise, sit on the patio and enjoy the outdoors.BC has a great selection of burgers and other sanwiches. But that is just a start. The fries and deep fried dill pickle chips are the best out there, and are served generously. The large fry we had today was sufficient for three of us. The fries are crispy brown on the outside and smooth and soft on the inside....I suspect a double trip to the frier helps with that.The waitress today, April 14 at noon, was amazing, and added character to the place. She greeted many by name, and yet made everyone, known or unknown feel welcome. People like that are hard to find. If she is not the owner, I sure hope the owner is taking good care of her.The cook clearly knows his way around the kitchen with everything prepared perfectly. If this cook can make a BLT, Bacon Avocado Burger, Blue Cheese Burger, Fries, and Fried Pickles with the level of perfection we saw today, it would be awsome to see what he could do with a rib eye steak or duck breast.

The atmosphere at the cafe was cozy and welcoming, and the service was fantastic. If you’re in Big Bear, this place is a must-visit! Highly recommend the bacon and avocado burger – you won’t regret it!The ranch dressing they served was out of this world! You can really tell it’s made in-house because it had the perfect balance of creaminess.
